Entry qualification | Bachelor diploma (or higher) Students with relevant degrees (biology, chemistry, environmental studies, bioengineering, agricultural or medical and health sciences) may apply if they have minimum 70 credits from required criteria subjects (6 mathematics, 6 informatics, 4 physics, 20 chemistry, 60 biology). Detailed transcript (containing name of subject, number of contact hours, grade/mark received, credit) is compulsory to to submit with the application documents. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. Overview
Short description:
The MSc in Molecular Biology program aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of and practical skills in the field of molecular biology. This includes application of molecular biology techniques; a general knowledge of the molecular biology methods; ability to alter and modulate genes; a practical approach to scientific problems in multidisciplinary teams with an emphasis on medicine-related projects; understanding of the genomic data; planning and performing genetical modifications; setting up and testing recombinant expression systems for medicinal or industrial purposes; translation of laboratory results to clinical practice; obtaining, preserving, and evaluating genetic material; and the ability to test and establish personalized medicine-based approaches. The students can specialize in the fields of biochemistry and genomics.
