The MSc Timber Industry Engineering Programme is unique to our university in Hungary and aims at the comprehensive utilization of wood and wood based materials: from materials characterization to high value added products and from processing to economic and environmental aspects. The goal of the course is professional training in wood processing and utilisation: achieving a high-level theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the technical, environmental and financial aspects of wood utilisation and processing, attaining a level of theoretical understanding that, along with the vocational training, enables the graduate to assume an active role in future technical developments, and to further his or her education by entering a PhD programme.
BSc in Timber Engineering or BSc in Wood Science. Candidates with BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics may have to complete additional BSc level courses.
