The Academic Programme offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy leads to the degree Doctor of Pharmacy.
The programme provides students with the understanding of the relevant fields of biology, chemistry and physics, medical knowledge and professional pharmacy subjects. During the course there is also a focus on developing skills such as: technical knowledge, dexterity, communication and computer skills.

The training begins with an introduction to the basic sciences providing a foundation for further pharmaceutical studies. In the second part of the course students take part in general and special pharmaceutical training at the universitys departments, institutes, laboratories and at pharmaceutical works. In the final year students participate in professional practices in Hungarian pharmacies.
Graduates usually choose their careers in pharmaceutical or chemical industries at pharmaceutical companies, laboratories or at hospitals etc.
