Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) In order to enter the programme, students have to submit all the required documents that should be submitted for full-time application. Furthermore, they also have to submit a study certificate from the home university and the transcripts of the completed semesters. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
Students applying for the partial study programme have to participate in an entrace exam which consists of two parts. On one hand, the applicants’ previous studies are evaluated (based on the transcripts and the final secondary certificate/high school diploma), motivation letter and any additional documents are checked as well. On the other hand, applicants need to participate in an online admission interview. During this interview applicants need to prove their English language skills and also their suitability for their chosen program.
Applicants are invited to complete a Mathematics test.
During the partial study programme students have the opportunity to study at Budapest Business University either one or two semesters within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme. Students attending the partial study programme will have the chance to choose any of the subjects given in the semester in case the chosen subject does not have any special prerequisite. If there is „Thesis writing seminar” on the major, it cannot be chosen.
30 ECTS credits can be taken in one semester is average, but students have to complete at least 18 ECTS credits.
At the end of the programme, transcript of records will be issued for the students which contains all the subject, credits and grades that they achived during the programme.Contact:

Programme structure
The programme provides interdisciplinary knowledge that fulfils labour market requirements. Those in possession of such in-depth knowledge and practical skills are able to identify and solve problems in the economic and business fields. Applying a complex set of knowledge, they are able to understand economic processes and respond creatively to challenges in the business world. Economics and accounting graduates from the Bachelor’s programme can use their professional knowledge to contribute to informing and making decisions in the field of business. Their communication skills and professional foreign language skills ensure effective cooperation with partners and professionals.
In this programme we train business professionals who, with their strong theoretical and practical knowledge and skill base will be able to:
- establish and operate the business processes of enterprises and institutions,
- manage and perform accounting and financial tasks,
- analyse, evaluate, and control financial management,
- inform financial, investment, financing, and capital layout decisions,
- make financing decisions independently,
- perform creative work on their own and engage in team activities,
- use negotiation and presentation techniques and professional persuasion skills,
- use modern information technology equipment.
