Entry qualification

Bachelor diploma (or higher) In order to enter the programme, students have to submit all the required documents that should be submitted for full-time application. Furthermore, they also have to submit a study certificate from the home university and the transcripts of the completed semesters. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Language requirements	English B2 (IELTS 6.0) Please note that all applicants need to participate in an online admission interview. During this interview, you’ll need to prove your language skills and the admission committee will make their admission decision based on this. If you don’t reach the necessary language level, you won’t be granted admission even if you have a previously obtained language certificate.

Overview

Students applying for the partial study programme have to take an entrace exam which consists of two parts. On one hand, the applicants’ previous studies are evaluated (based on the transcripts and the final secondary certificate/high school diploma), motivation letter and any additional documents are checked as well. On the other hand, applicants need to participate in an online admission interview. During this interview applicants need to prove their English language skills and also their suitability for their chosen program.

During the partial study programme students have the opportunity to study at Budapest Business University either one or two semesters within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme. Students attending the partial study programme will have the chance to choose any of the subjects given in the semester in case the chosen subject does not have any special prerequisite. If there is „Thesis writing seminar” on the major, it cannot be chosen.

30 ECTS credits can be taken in one semester is average, but students have to complete at least 18 ECTS credits.

At the end of the programme, transcript of records will be issued for the students which contains all the subject, credits and grades that they achived during the programme.

Programme structure

The aim of our Masters program is to train professionals with a broad social science education who will understand the theoretical and practical contexts of international political, economic and trade relations. They will acquire a high level of analytical skills in addition to theoretical (civilization, world economics, international law, political theory) and practical (diplomatic, linguistic, negotiation and protocol) knowledge.
