Overview

Program description:
The undergraduate BSc program of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is designed to continue a tradition of excellence by providing well-grounded and broad knowledge that graduates of this Faculty can apply immediately in their work and also use as the basis for further studies, and graduating competent engineers who are not only masters of their profession, but also possess an
ethical philosophy of engineering based on accuracy and reliability as well as a respect for the human element.

Entry requirements:
secondary school leaving certificate; successful admission test in Mathematics and Physics; an internationally accredited (at least) B2-equivalent language exam in English;

Admission procedure in general and general requirements: refer to admission regulations at www.bme.hu Steps: – online e-admission test (via internet): Mathematics, Physics (the test is in English) – visit www.bme.hu/?language=en for further information and training for the test – minimum requirement: min 40% in Mathematics, min 40% in Physics and min 50% in total – The applicants are evaluated on a 100 point scale. The required minimum to be achieved is 56 points. No applicants shall receive a scholarship offer with an examination result below 56 points. – Dean’s decision on admission result Result: admission to BSc course / admission rejected (for further information on BSc courses visit www.bme.hu)
