You do not have to submit an official English test result if one of the following criteria applies to you: English is your native language / You have continued your undergraduate studies in English / You have participated in a preparatory course organised by the University of Pécs or any other Hungarian institute (You have to submit the official transcript of your preparatory studies)
A motivation letter must be added to your application.
A relevant portfolio is required.
Portfolio with minimum 10 works made with different techniques, preferably colour drawings and paintings made in the past 2-3 years.
- Certified and translated (if originals are not in English) copy of school transcripts showing satisfactory completion of senior high school.
The aim of the programme is to educate painters who are capable of independent painting activity using their acquired knowledge in painting, their individual perspective and the skills for self-expression. Graduates are familiar with the means of expression and the opportunities of universal painting, as well as its materials and techniques. They possess the required knowledge to move onto doctoral (Doctor of Liberal Arts) training.
