Overview
Master of Arts (10 students) The training aims to educate autonomous visual artists who use artistic tools and techniques in a variety of ways, who respond to the present with a critical attitude, and who integrate into the artistic activity and research of disciplines far from the field of fine arts. By developing their creative methods, the choice of means of expression during the realization of the visual concept supports the artistic content and vision. Mastering conscious creative processes prepares them for further training in doctoral studies.
The admission consists of two stages:
Stage 1: The selection board will view the uploaded application documents:
- a curriculum vitae in Hungarian language
- Motivation letter in Hungarian language; a letter of motivation of up to half a page describing why you chose this programme
- Portfolio – minimum of 5 artistic works; a selection of previous autonomous works, in any genre;
- studies (in any genre: e.g. sculpture, drawing, painting).
Stage 2: Admission interview: an assessment of knowledge in the field of contemporary Hungarian and international art.
