Overview

Vehicle engineering is a specialized field that encompasses the design, manufacturing, and operational aspects of various types of vehicles, including automobiles, motorcycles, and heavy machinery. This discipline integrates principles from multiple engineering domains such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software engineering to create efficient and safe vehicles. The curriculum of Vehicle Engineering MSc students (in English) is structured in 4 semesters in dual study mode, each semester having 14 weeks of activity (including teaching and practice). Thus, the curriculum includes the subjects of advanced knowledge in the field of Automotive Engineering and thorough knowledge disciplines necessary for a rapid integration of the master program graduate on labor market.

Entrance exam description:
The professional evaluation of the educational materials (degree, transcripts, results) is the task of the relevant Faculty. This evaluation is followed by a Skype interview with one of the professors of the Faculty, which aims to check the applicant’s level of motivation, language skills and professional knowledge. (In case of a missing certificate about the English language proficiency we conduct a Skype interview in order to check the applicant’s English language skills.)

Basics of natural sciences (21 credits)
Mathematics I. – Application of differential equations, Solid state/semiconductor physics, Mathematics II. Application of stochastic systems, Applied dynamics, Vehicle manufacturing environmental toxicology and life cycle analysis
Economics and Humanities (11 credits)
Production management and production planning, Quality assurance of automotive production processes, 6 sigma and Lean knowledge
Specific compulsory subjects (52 credits)
Internet of Things – systems and technologies, Measurement, signal processing and electronics, Robotics and vehicle manufacturing, Body production technologies, Pneumatic and hydraulic elements of production systems, Assembly and production automation, Automotive safety technology, Material handling and AGV systems, Non-fossil energy sources, Electric drives, Project task I.-II.

1. Written and oral exam on the topics of specific compulsory subjects and projects
