Programme description:
Like all artworks, graphic art offers one of the most versatile opportunities for those who choose this form of self-expression. We are living in an age of appreciation for the unique and handcrafted, as mass-produced items and general uniformity have overshadowed individual voices and visions. The world of art is one possible way out of this spiritual desertification. Drawing and various reproductive graphic techniques are the most ancient forms of human expression, which is why you should apply to become a graphic artist and experience the exciting process of creation and production, which gives an extra experience and energy not only to the artist but also to the host community.

Entrance exam description:
The admission procedure consits of the following parts:
- 20-30 minutes long online interview/ or online test for second place applicants
- evaluation of application documents
Online interview: The University will contact all applicants to set up a suitable time for the online interview. Applicants will be interviewed by appointed staff members from the Department and the international office. Professors will check the applicant’s preliminary knowledge of the chosen study area and motivation. The international office will check the language skills and intercultural competences of the applicant.
The admission decision is based on the following results:
- result of previous studies (max. 20 points)
- CV, motivation letter (max. 20 points)
- online interview (max. 60 points)
Minimum admission requirements: 60 points. Those applicants who gain less than 5 points in any section of the admission procedure will be rejected.

Career opportunities
The aim of the training is to educate graphic artists who are capable of working in the genres of graphic art based on a knowledge in drawing. They know the outstanding works of art traditions and contemporary art, the expressive means and possibilities of universal graphic art, and the materials and techniques. Due to their high quality of knowledge, their ability to express themselves and their knowledge of international and national art trends, they can express ideas in the form of fine art and thus to enter the contemporary art world and the art market. Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in doctoral programmes or art teacher training.
