Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) For the field of Economics, evidence of the study of mathematics is required (school leaving certificate final results). All applicants must submit the following documents: - completed and signed application form The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. Notarized English translations are required for all written documents except the passport. Notarization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is necessary for every school leaving document or degree, language certificate and documents certifying English medium of instruction, even if the original is in English. If the country of origin is a Member of the Hague Treaty, then Apostilled documents are required for all written documents except your passport. |

Language requirements | English One of the following indications of English-language proficiency: TOEFL 513 / IELTS 5.5 /oral examination, TOEFL IBT test score of 66 or any standardised international English language exam corresponding with Hungarian B2 at the Bachelors level and C1 at Masters level. If there is no standardised English exam, the University relies on a online interview. Applicants not complying with language requirements must enrol in a preparatory language programme. After having completed the language course and passed the requisite final examination, if there are no professional reservations on the part of the Faculty, admission to the selected Bachelor’s programme is automatic. |

Overview
Our programme is practice-oriented and designed for people who want to learn how to run and manage an international business. Students will gain an understanding of the national and international economy, economic processes and actors, the rules of international transport and international finance, the basic functions, determinants and objectives of economic policy, foreign trade processes, foreign economic policy and the functioning of the European Union.

Programme structure
The total number of credits required to complete the programme is 180+60 credits. 180 credits can be obtained by completing the compulsory, specialized electives and free electives courses. We have two semesters of compulsory internships in the curriculum for 20+30 credits. The last 10 credits can be obtained by completing the Thesis consultation.
Career opportunities
Graduates from the programme can find employment practically in all areas of domestic and international companies and fill middle and senior management positions. Their advanced language skills and understanding of economics also make it easy for them to work abroad (or for international companies operating in Hungary).
